A Dish that Tops all Others

While searching for another way to make chicken, I came across this recipe.

It called for a 1/4 a cup of balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I didn't have any on hand, so I made my own with these two guys.

Pour a little of each into a container, and there you have it!

Combine the dressing with 1 can of diced tomatoes, drained.

It doesn't look that hot, but believe me, it gets much better.

Pour the mixture on top of the chicken and top with 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
Like so.
Bake it in a 350 degree oven for about a half hour and you get this amazing smelling, delicious looking chicken.

I love how the cheese turned brown.

I love experimenting with new ingredients to put on chicken (as if you couldn't tell!)

Question of the Day:
Do you ever make your own homemade dressing? Tell me how!

Until next time!

When I ate chicken, I used to LOVE balsamic chicken!! Great recipe. For salads, I use my own simple dressing a lot of the time- olive oil, lemon juice, S&P! Simple and delicious. Otherwise, I use salsa!!

I make homemade dressing with olive oil, balsamic, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, basil, and just a little sugar. SO good!

Wow! What a great simple but tasty recipe.

I prefer homemade dressings. They just taste so much fresher.

I'm always looking for easy chicken recipes -- and delicious, too! Mmm! Thanks!

Dressing -- drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over salad. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with garlic salt, pepper, oregano, Parmesan, and ground mustard. DELICIOUS!

I would so love to make this!! I will have to wait for a night when my bf is gone though, he isn't a big fan of tomatoes. I always make my own dressing as well, saves so much money and you know what is going in!

I never make my own homemade dressing! Well, I did once, but I followed an exact recipe. I'm terrible at experimenting in the kitchen...i'm always afraid it will turn out terrible and I"ll have wasted time/ingredients. sometimes it's totally worth it though, so i should experiment more

I do make some homemade dressings. My favorite is a mix of 1 TBSP peanut butter, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1/4 tsp sesame oil and 2 tsp water. So easy and tasty!

Awesome way to improvise on the dressing! I love making Lime Agave dressing; lime juice, agave nectar, olive oil, salt and pepper, it is so good!
